Can you imagine growing up as an avid church-goer, a believer that God exists, being excited as a child to give Jesus your money for tithes, knowing all the songs, being raised with godly values and principles, only to FINALLY meet Jesus at 27 years old? Not only this, but to then realize that He is so much more than was ever taught to you. I knew of God but did not know God. This is my story...

 

In 2019 I asked God: "Why is it so hard for me to not worry?" The Lord said to me: "Because you don't believe—but you will." With tears in my eyes and a broken but hopeful heart, I then asked: "How?" The Lord's response: "Seek Me." It is with this hope in my heart through a spoken promise from the Lord that emboldens me to share what these past two years have been like for me. While my journey with God began much earlier than at 27 years old, it's possible I was unable to put the puzzle pieces together because of my then relationship with God, or lack thereof. Scripture says, when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen swiftly (Isaiah 60:22)." I must believe that now rather than earlier in my life, is the right time that God is choosing to reveal to me all that He has been, and will continue to reveal to me. 

 

I have come to understand through countless experiences with the supernatural, that believing the truths of God outlined in His Word (the bible) as well as what He communicates, in addition to developing a personal relationship between you and Jesus, comes with a prerequisite. This prerequisite is a desire to know Who the Lord is. This desire to know God was placed there by Him (John 6:44) for a time such as this (Esther 4:14).

As my journey unfolds, and I learn more about Who God is through my personal relationship with Jesus, I hope to share more of what the Lord leads me to share with you all. I also want to impress upon your hearts how important this relationship with Jesus Christ truly is. It is important that you have your own relationship with Jesus, not one you share with Jesus and anyone else--not your religious leaders or your loved ones, just you and the Lord. Afterall, He is the only One Who can secure our paths to heaven rather than hell. Scripture tells us that there is no other way to the God except through Jesus, Who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

Jesus said: "...You must follow Me...(John 21:22)" and if it is your time to also follow Him, I believe with all of my heart that He can meet you exactly where you are as He has done for me and countless others.
